Four holy orders compose Corean's Adamantine Church[1], also known as the Swords of Corean (referring to the Shining One's symbol. Each order is named for one of the metals held holy by their god[2] and consists of paladins, priests and acolytes organized into a strict hierarchy[1]. While the varying orders have different missions, they can quickly assemble as a unified force to confront great threats. The Adamantine Church is strongest in Vesh, Mithril, Darakeene, Durrover, and Fangsfall[1].
Chapters/Orders[]
Order of Mithril: The first order of paladins created by Corean. They uphold the virtues Compassion, Courage and Sacrifice. The elite members, the Mithril Knights are given a piece of mithril from which they are to forge a holy sword.[3]
Order of Iron: Also called the Iron Knights, members of this order are master blacksmiths and siege engineers. They are known for their impregnable fortress-temples.[4][5]
Order of Silver: Deriving their name from silver's protective qualities and its ability to harm supernatural creatures, the secretive Silver Knights study forbidden knowledge to better understand the dark forces of the outer planes they face.[6][7]
Order of Gold: Smallest and most well-known of the four orders of the Adamantine Church, the Order of Gold is the Church's most widespread order. Gold Knights endeavor to be missionaries and wandering healers of Corean. They have even been spotted on the continent of Termana.[8][9]
